Gallatin Point Capital LLC is a private investment firm that specializes in opportunistic investments in financial institutions, services, and assets. We manage over $5 billion across multiple funds on behalf of our investors.
Founded by Matthew Botein and Lewis (Lee) Sachs, Gallatin Point began operations in 2017. Our co-founders believe that a flexible, integrated, and collaborative approach enables us to nimbly capitalize on opportunities across the financial landscape and offer differentiated solutions to our investors and partners. Post-investment, we seek to further add value by leveraging our deep financial industry experience, strategic insights, and a global network of relationships to help our portfolio companies and business partners succeed and grow.

Targeting lower volatility and lower absolute returns than Equity Strategies from income-generating investments across assets classes and capital structures, including but not limited to various types of private credit, asset financings, (re)insurance transactions, and other mezzanine-level investments.
